Install the grinding wheel on the grinder, and lightly grind the two kinds of plates. When grinding, the sparks of the 201 plate are longer, thicker and more, while the sparks of the 304 plate are shorter, thinner and less. When grinding, the force must be light, and the two grinding forces are the same for easy distinction.
Apply stainless steel pickling paste on the two types of stainless steel plates. After 2 minutes, observe the color change of the stainless steel on the smear. The color 201 means blackening, and 304 means whitening or not changing color.
